You would like this book if you like Realistic Fiction Review: 10 year old Melody is not like her peers. Because of her cerebral palsy, she can not walk or talk and can not do many of the things other 10 year olds can do. Melody does, however, have a fierce intelligence and a photographic memory. Being smarter than most of her peers in her integrated class as well as the adults who diagnose her is frustrating for Melody as she is unable to talk to express her thoughts She is determined, however, not to let her disability define who she is.
